np. glad to hear tht :)
well i see wht u mean by “chubby” i really dont think thts chubby like fat, most times babies start out round anyway but i suggest u do watch the pellet diet bc it looks like they very minor pyramidng. it could be bc they are so tiny tht their shell didnt get a chance to take its smooth shape yet but i suggest adding some variety. like i said, staple of ROMAINE lettuce, pellets like 2- 3 times a week and maybe a dried fruit mix they sell at the pet stores for tortoises. mine love those. they are probs too young for cuddle bone so add a calcium block every 2 weeks or so or when u change their water. calcium is key for shell and bone health. if u follow this they should be happy and healthy. every once in a while i will give them 1 dried shrimp as a treat and variety too. and when they get older if u are cool with it, feeder fish adds some excitement and chase to their lives. also if u wanna chnage it up, once i poured a small cup of brine shrimp into the tank and they went nuts. they love those. these are just some options. the key is to keep a low protein, high fiber diet. thats why i dont usually suggest feeding just pellets, they always say “full nutritional needs for turtles” but are way too high in protein. u can always adjust it.
